Bhakti Chaubey
Bhakti an artist by side profession working from her studio in Melbourne, Australia. Her inspirations come from everyday life, an assortment of animals, nature, people and places. She is inspired by colour, shapes and movement – particularly the interplay of colour in nature – she strives to bring these qualities to her work for an effect which is very alive, yet also calming.
She works full time so she doesn't have to rely on her painting for financial support which gives her the freedom to take her art in any direction she feels necessary for her own development.
She believes that all an artist needs is imagination, a medium to express in and freedom to go wild.
